Bio
Shirley Agudo is an American photojournalist, author, editor and intercultural trainer living in the Netherlands. She is the photographer and author of Bicycle Mania (www.bicycle-mania.nl) and Hot Pink, about the gay parade in Amsterdam. She is also co-author of Fodor’s Holland (Random House); the ghostwriter of Network Your Way to Success (C. Ruffolo); the managing editor of Here’s Holland, the definitive guide to travel and life in Holland (www.heresholland.com); and the editor of several books.
Prior to moving to Europe in 1993, Shirley was managing editor of a US magazine, Pittsburgh’s Child, and, prior to that, a corporate public relations manager. She was born in Pennsylvania and currently lives near Amsterdam.
